Thanks to everyone who’s attended one of forums, been advocating in your networks, supporting people on the ground and keeping the conversation going.
Council has issued further move on orders, threatening $1100 fines if people have not vacated by 28 July 2026. A copy of the letter issued by Council can be found here.

Putting people before politics
Together for Riverina exists to make democracy something everyone can reach, shape, and feel part of.
We are an entirely volunteer-run community organisation of committed everyday people who care deeply about how our region is represented. And for the record: we’re not aligned with any political party.
With the Riverina electorate stretching from Lockhart to Crookwell, Cowra to Tumbarumba and Yass to Temora, our communities find themselves needing to be linked in new ways. So we’ve come together across postcodes, paddocks and priorities to look for fresh ideas for the future.
Our work builds on the wisdom shared in Kitchen Table Conversations held in the Riverina and the Yass Valley during 2020–2021. Sure, the world has shifted since then, but the need for us to come together to speak for our local communities has only become clearer.
